Trump: The "party" must be eliminated

US President Donald Trump confirmed on Wednesday that the war with Iran may end "soon."
He indicated in a short telephone interview with Israeli Channel 12 (N12) that most of the Iranian military targets were struck.
In response to a question about Lebanon and Christians in the south, Trump said: We love Lebanon and are doing our best, but Hezbollah must be eliminated because of its bad role.
Trump explained in the call, which lasted about five minutes, that he did not want to set an exact timetable for the end of the war, but he stressed that military operations had achieved great progress. He said: “The war is going well.
He continued: “We are far ahead of schedule,” adding: “There is almost nothing left to attack in Iran... a little here and there.” “Any minute I want it to be over, it will be over.”
Trump made a direct threat to Iran, saying: “They are paying the price for the 47 years of death and destruction they have caused. This is a retaliation, and they will not get out of this easily.”
In parallel with Trump's statements suggesting that the end of the war is approaching, Israeli and American officials said that internal discussions have not yet included any clear guidance regarding a possible date for ending military operations.
